SF STERN GROVE 야외음악회
6~8월 매주 일요일 오후 SF 심포니. 발레. 오페라, 째즈 등 무료 공연80년전인 1938년 시작된 알차고 전통 깊은 숲속의 음악회 샌프란시스코 Stern Grove festival 이 6월25일부터 8월 27일까지 매주 일요일 오후 SF Stern Grove 팍에서 열린다.
Stern Grove festival은 7월9일 SF 심포니, 16일은 록큰 롤, 23일은 멕시코 뮤지칼과 전통무용, 30일은 SF 발레단, 8월6일은 그래미상 후보Amadou & Mariam 공연, 13일은 뮤지컬, 20일은 그레미상 후보 BRAZILIAN GIRLS | Moon Hooch 공연, 27일은 보컬리스트 MAVIS STAPLES와 Kev Choice Ensemble의 재즈 등 수준 높은 공연을 볼 수 있다.
Stern Grove festival 은 오후 2시부터 약 3시간 19th Ave 와 Sloat Blvd가 만나는 Stern Grove 팍에서 무료로 공연한다.
돗자리나 피크닉 의자를 지참할 수 있으며, 맥주, 와인, 음식을 허용하고 현장에서 음식을 판매한다.

그밖에 북가주에서 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival (ybgfestival.org)와 산호세, 캠벨, 산타클라라 등에서도 무료 야외 콘서트를 공연한다.

GETTING TO THE GROVE
Stern Grove Festival takes place in Sigmund Stern Grove, located at 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard in San Francisco.
Stern Grove is NOT in Golden Gate Park.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Patrons are encouraged to use public transportation.
MUNI
Muni Metro: take lines M Ocean View or the K Ingleside and exit at the St. Francis Circle stop. Walk West one block to the park entrance at 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard.
Muni Bus: lines 23-Monterey and 28-19th Avenue stop right at 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard.
BART
- BART to Civic Center and transfer to Muni Metro M Ocean View or the K Ingleside
- BART to Glen Park Station and transfer to MUNI bus 23-Monterey
- BART to Daly City and transfer to MUNI bus 28-19th Avenue

PARKING
There is no public parking area at Stern Grove on concert Sundays. Parking in the area is extremely limited.
Patrons are encouraged to use public transportation. If you must drive, please respect our neighbors and do not block driveways and crosswalks! Violators will be ticketed or towed.
What To Bring:
Blankets and ground covers no larger than 8x10 feet.
Small umbrellas and low chairs with backs at shoulder height. To ensure visibility for all patrons, tents, tall or large tables, and large shade structures are not allowed. If you have a small umbrella it must be down prior to and during the performance.
Picnics and coolers. Food is also sold at Tante's in the Esplanade and at food trucks in the West Meadow (except on opening day).
Alcohol is permitted on concert Sundays for patrons of legal drinking age. Alcohol is not sold at Stern Grove Festival.
Strollers are allowed, provided they are folded down during the performance and not blocking walkways or in the aisles.
