1. Frontend UX/UI Engineer
Responsibilities
Make UI components on a website such as menu bars, data tables, clickable buttons, and etc.
And also required to understand users/or customers’ behavior on a web site so the company
can provide better customer experience along with the offline stores.
We look for applicants with basic understandings of JavaScript, CSS, HTML
GIT and related workflows
any commercialized design frameworks such as vuetify, ant design, tailwindCSS, etc
advanced knowledge of
one of SPA frameworks such as Vuejs, React, etc
async/await/promise concepts of JavaScript
one of the Amazon Web Services(AWS), ec2, s3, amplify, CloudFront, etc
calling REST APIs from a web site in an efficient manner
3 year+ work experience of web applications including
analyzing customer requirements
system architecture design
building customer side of UI components
building admin side of UI components
Thorough testing experience of their source code
Our IT infrastructure is built on top of these tech stacks.
Backend: Ruby on rails, nodejs, Docker, postgresql, AWS
Frontend: JavaScript, vuejs (nuxt 3.0), vuetify
App: Flutter
Tools: MacOS, Copilot, Webstorm (Intellij), Github, Slack
ETC: micro service architecture, headless commerce, TDD, BDD
Compensation : $100K-130K/annual
2. Store Manager/Staff
Responsibilities
• Brand Ambassadorship:
a.Act as the primary ambassador of the brand, embodying our values and commitment
to quality.
b.Maintain in-depth knowledge of our colored contact lenses, products, and promotions
to assist customers effectively.
• Team Leadership:
a.Supervise, train, and/or motivate store associates, technicians, and support staff.
b.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and
excellence.
• Customer Experience:
a.Ensure exceptional customer service by setting high standards for staff interactions
with customers.
b.Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
c.Personally handle and ensure the highest level of discretion of high-profile influencers
and celebrities that may be arriving at the store.
• Store Operations:
a.Oversee day-to-day store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising,
and cleanliness.
b.Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
• Collaboration with Optometrists:
a.Work closely with in-store optometrists to provide seamless customer experiences.
b.Coordinate appointment scheduling, customer follow-ups, and prescription fulfillment.
• Reporting and Administration:
a.Prepare and submit regular reports on store performance, sales, and inventory.
b.Manage employee schedules, timecards, and other administrative tasks.
Requirements:
• 4-7 years proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in the optical or eyewear industry.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of eyewear and contact lenses is a plus.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
• Fan and/or user of colored contacts
